known as economy class syndrome. It is a symptom where
long flight travelers experience a restriction of blood
circulation especially at the legs.
In
fatal cases, blood clot can develop
in a deep vein, after landing and the passenger starts
to move, the blood clot shifts suddenly to the heart or
lungs. This can cause pulmonary embolism,
it is often fatal.Those people that are at higher risk
are obesity, heart disease or heart

out of your seat and walk along the aisles every hour. If
this is a challenge to you, try stretching your legs in your
seat, this will improve blood flow. Take
plenty of liquid, stay hydrated. Do not be tempted to sip
in tea or coffee. Stay clear of caffeine and
