You
just got off from work, you looked at your own watch, it's
9.30pm, too much stress these days, got to lighten up.
So you hit the pubs and look for some friends, downed a
few drinks and rush home to catch some sleep, before you
know it, it's 2am. What a life... The next day, a panda
will stare at you in the mirror.
The
skin under your eyes are fragile,
they are temperamental too, they are ever ready to retaliate
if you get a liitle too much eye strain or
late nights. Your eye will produce puffiness and dark rings.
If you always have these symptoms, it could be a vitamin
D and E deficiency,
hereditary or sun damage.
But
if you got it just because you are a wild animal or some
nocturnal culprit, here is some help you may want to know.
Use
some cotton wool and dab some witch hazel, place them on
each eye for 5 minute. Witch hazel is available with chemists
and they are cheap, sometimes they go by the name of hamamelis
water. It has a cooling and healing effect.
It is also an antiseptic.
OR,
you can place two slices of cucumber over each eye. They
are vegetable enzymes, which can
lighten and refresh your skin. But even if you leave them
on for 5 to 20 minutes, it is not a permanent solution,
but it is enough to get by the day. If
all this don't work, try reworking your habits. |
